Sculpt Finished
Between the last post and now I was able to get my prometheus character sculpt into a place where I was happy with it and will move on. I defined some of the musculature and sculpted some facial features resembling some of the paintings. His face is pretty neutral in this one so its not that exciting.

The Texturing Progress
I have begun painting the texture for prometheus and am unsure about the results. I think that it is challenging to make an assessment without the surroundings also being painting, and it not being finished. I think that is kind of exciting though, I guess we will see in the end if it all pulls together.
Heres the painting progress:
(Texture used was captured with a picture from my phone, I plan to experiment with other methods)

Here's the actual painted texture:
( This is half a night's worth of painting )

Conclusion
I have been thinking a lot recently about the pace of this assignment and I am going to have to pick up the pace a little bit I think if I am going to make the EOQ deadline. I think I am going to be making some alterations to my timeline now that I have practice doing both sculpting and painting.
Originally I had planned two weeks for each, sculpting and painting. I think that the painting can get done in two weeks, but the sculpting may extend to 3 - 4 weeks. I plan to have a second sculpt done by Sunday of this week. That places me at 2 sculpts at the end of 2 weeks which is not enough for schedule. I have 5(ish) sculpts total to do. If I can get 2 done next week, and the remaining one done in the 3 days after that I would feel good.
Slightly updated timeline:
Sculpting ----------- 4 weeks
Painting ------------- 2 weeks
The eagle ---------- A few days
Props --------------- A few days
Simulations -------- 1 week
Compositing ------- A few days
Rendering --------- 1 week
Trouble Shooting - A few days
