About the Artist
My name is Justin Beck, and I am a VFX artist and a Fine artist. I am currently enrolled at Savannah College of Art and Design for a Bachelors in Visual Effects. There is nothing more that I enjoy than creating beautiful pieces of artwork, specifically with charcoals, pastels, and oil paints. I've always been an artist in the world of realism, so that is what I plan to bring to visual effects.
Education
August 2017 - March 2019
Parkland Community College
At Parkland Community College in Illinois, I pursued an Associates degree in digital media. While attending school here I completed many classes in Animation and 3D VFX. I also completed many classes in fine arts such as oil painting, figure drawing, and basic drawing courses. I achieved an award in the student juried art exhibition here by submitting an oil painting of a still life done in class.

Savannah College Of Art and Design
At Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA, I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Effects. Here I have excelled in many of my courses and learned most general knowledge in VFX as well as honing my skills in on texturing, and modelling. I expect to graduate in the spring of 2023, and will be seeking higher education or employment immediately after.
